UPDATE: I have managed to get a better image... which you can now see. I took a photograph of the drawing and then corrected the light levels as much as i could on my macbook. unfortunately you can still see light being reflected off of the drawing.
HOWEVER i am still working on getting a better scan


Matthew Gray Gubler.
He has a very interesting and expressionate face.

I've wanted to do a piece on Dr. Spencer Reid for a while, and this was not ment to be it! Initially the drawing you see here was ment to be a few basic pencil sketches while i tried to work out with picture I actually wanted to use, but it would seem that i am incapable to doing 'quick sketches'! At risk of looking like a 'fan girl' I will be following this up with another portrait of Gubler/Reid and this time it will be a solo portrait. My reasoning is that 1. it will be the piece i intended to do in the first place and 2. i find Reid very easy to relate to, I know from first hand experience the impact genius has on other aspects of your life and although I fall well short of the characters level if IQ I too have the social awkwardness and other problems Reid does.

Finally finished after 2 weeks of frustration.
The focal point of this piece is the 2 bigger portraits, which is why the smaller ones are much simpler than them so as not to detract attention.
